Vietnam aims to build an entertainment complex with a casino valued at over $2 billion
The People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province has proposed constructing a premium-class tourist complex with hotels and resorts on a 245-hectare site in Van Yen village.
Experts estimate that the project's implementation could take around 9 years, and the complex's preliminary opening may not happen before the third quarter of 2032.
It is expected that upon operation, the complex will generate an average annual profit of $350-360 million. This casino will be only the second in Vietnam allowed to serve the country's citizens.
Vietnam's Ministry of Planning and Investment presented the Prime Minister of the country with a project for a tourist complex featuring a casino and a gambling zone worth $2.18 billion. The Quang Ninh People's Committee plans to commence investor search right after the government's approval of the project.
