The EFL League One. Who will be promoted to the Championship?

The football season in Europe is in full swing, and while clubs are on a break due to national team matches, the RatingBet decided to figure out who the favorites are in the lower divisions of English football.

Continuing with an article about League One, where a third of the season has already been played. After 17 rounds, Portsmouth, Oxford United, and Bolton are leading the table. These three teams are separated by just one point. Slightly below are Peterborough and Stevenage. It's also worth noting that Derby County, close to the playoff zone, is moving along with Reading, recently relegated from the Championship, at the bottom of the table.

Bookmakers consider the current table leader as the main contender for victory in the division (Portsmouth - odds 2.38). Also among the favorites according to bookmaker odds are Bolton (odds 4.35) and Oxford (4.5). The odds for Peterborough, currently in 4th place, are 8, and for Derby County's success, it's 13.

Let's also mention the four main favorites for promotion at the end of the season: Portsmouth (1.44), Bolton (1.71), Oxford (1.9), Peterborough (2.25), and Barnsley (2.23). It's worth noting that the top two teams move up to the division above, while places 3 to 6 will compete for an additional promotion spot to the Championship.
