Good news for winter sports enthusiasts - the biathlon season kicks off this weekend. The first stage of the Biathlon World Cup will take place in Östersund, Sweden.

On Saturday, relay races will be held there, followed by the individual race the next day. Betting odds from Rating Bet shed light on who the favorites are in this discipline.

Among men, bookmakers favor Johannes Thingnes Bø, a four-time World Cup winner, with odds of 1.8 for his victory. Following him is another Norwegian, Sturla Holm Lægreid (odds 5), and completing the top three favorites is Swedish biathlete Sebastian Samuelsson (11).
