A man stole 1600 lottery tickets but didn't win anything
In the Russian city of Pyatigorsk, a man stole 1600 lottery tickets but didn't win anything. The police detained the avid resident of Pyatigorsk, who stole a large batch of lottery tickets from a kiosk. It is reported that he climbed into the trading kiosk through a small window.
Unfortunately for him, instead of winning, he got a criminal case. The owners of the kiosk estimated the damage at 140,000 rubles. Now, the lottery enthusiast faces up to 5 years in prison.
The police revealed that the man climbed through a window into one of the trading kiosks at night and took the tickets, clearly hoping to strike it rich. With the overall number of stolen lottery tickets, he had every opportunity for it. However, it didn't work out for him. It is known that the offender didn't even have time to check all the tickets, as he was promptly apprehended by the police.
